| It seems like Mo's been around music all his life. Originally from the East Coast of England, Via North London (at a very early age...hence his outrageous accent), Mo stumbled into California back in 1999. Mo started playing guitar at age 11 but soon decided his fingers were too fat to be the next 'Carlos Santana', so he turned his attention to the Electric Bass. Playing with Chris "Re-Pete" in Table 24, Sacramento's favorite party band, Mo joined the Who-Dunnit tribute project recently. Since Rob El Wistle was already slotted on the bass, Mo had hoped to be asked to join the project and was not disappointed as he was Chris' go to guy to step in on lead vocals. He has put in the hard work to learn the songs and words, performing yeoman's duty in getting up to speed. Mo's been song-writing since a very early age and has a substantial personal catalog. Like the other members of Table 24, Mo's often sought out for session work and solo performances. His other passion is sound re-enforcement and recording. You'll often see him 'twiddling' the knobs of the mixer for local bands. His home recording studio is being used to demo his original tunes as well as a great place to store his world famous 'dust' collection... "It's my legacy to my kids and decendents" he says, "It's a Bloody Mess", says Jan, his very long suffering Wife, Soulmate and 'Chief Roadie". Mo plays G&L, Fender, Yamaha and Ibanez Basses through Carvin, Trace Elliot and SWR-Working Man amplification. He uses Shure sm57 & 58 mics when ever he can because 'if it ain't broke... don't fix it!' |
