Modstock is just around the corner. We are the last band to play. Get there early and we play at 7pm

How could we not do this... The Who and Mods have been associated with each other since the start. We have been offered (and accepted) a slot at the MODSTOCK 2011 on August 7th. Its not what you think. Its a Benefit concert in Modesto and it features a whole host of bands. Of course if you want to bring out your Parka and Vespa feel free, just come and join in the fun.

The technical hitches that dogged us last time are now fixed. Thanks to all those that came out and saw us at Pistol Petes on the 16th. We recorded the show and mighty fine it sounds too.. Expect some mixes on the website pretty soon

Our last gig was a stunning re-creation of the first few nights of the 1973 Quadrophenia Tour. Technical problems ensued and Re-Pete has given our tech team a darn good kicking so that it wont happen again. Our next show is October 16 at Pistol Petes again so .... See Ya there!!!!!

We're Back... and ready to Rock!!! Bob is back to Moon strength and we are hitting the pavements to bring the sound of The Who to your town!!! We kick off in Auburn at the end of the month and I hope to announce a veritable cornucopia of performances in the near future. We are hassling the heck out of club owners and expect to see the calendar start to fill up.. Put away those Shorts and Bikinis and dig out that 1977 original Who T-Shirt and come on down. Maximum R&B indeed!!!!

It's true, There ain't no cure for the Summertime Blues...Bobs health still continues to give him problems so we have not been booking that many gigs recently. Consequently it's been a quiet summer. That in itself is both a blessing and a curse. Its nice to have a little break but we would all love to be up there rocking away bring the Music to the people. Anways, we do have a few local gigs lined up soon so check out the calendar and with a bit of luck we will see you soon

Our Mini Yagers in Folsom Gig was well attended. Thanks to all that showed up. Bob returned to play his 1st gig since being sick and did a stellar Job. However, we got some Crappy news that night, the E-Klectic music festival got cancelled. A major sponsor dropped out just as the money was needed to secure the venue. Maybe next year...

The Pistol Petes Gig was a great nite. We had to use a stand in for Bob due to his sickeness. Paul from Ma Barker did a great job with only a few weeks prep time. I will post some recordings of the nite soon.

Who-ppy New Year everybody. Marilyns was great. Another guitar bit the dust that night too!!! We are hoping that the Profile of The Who will be increased considerably this year as there is a SuperBowl appearance by the boys and a Who Rock Band being released too. I think thats a great marketing ploy by the rock band guys to sell controllers. After every three songs you have to smash them!!!

Only a few more weeks to our TOMMY CD release Party at Marilyns on K street in Sacramento. Marilyns is a great venue with a Killer sound system and wonderfull atmosphere. Take in an extended superbowl half time show two Full months before The Who perform for real. Come on down and get there early. We think the place will be busy

Tommy turns 40!! We celebrated in style in Grass Valley and everyone had a great time. A great turn out and everyone there had a good time eating cake and jello... well not really. The center for the Arts is always a great place to play. they look after us. Carol Garcia was fantastic as the Acid Queen and Mo's Costume changes made the evening fun. Tommy takes another outing in Sacramento in October.
